Accountant - Accounts Payable and Fixed Assets:
This function requires well-developed skills in accounting, business analysis, and process improvement. The successful candidate should demonstrate the ability to thrive in an environment of rapid change, work effectively with global teams, be highly resourceful, deliver strong results, have a passion for operational excellence, and possess strong communication and analytical skills.
Key Responsibilities:
● Compile and analyze financial information to prepare entries to general ledger accounts while documenting business transactions.
● Analyze financial information detailing assets, liabilities and expenses and prepare account reconciliations, explain accounting transactions, and resolve accounting issues and discrepancies
● Understand and apply US Generally Accepted Accounting Principles (GAAP) in transactions and reporting to ensure compliance,
● Prepare documentation to assist external auditors.
Accounts Payable and Fixed Assets responsibilities:
● Compiles, processes, verifies, and reconciles invoices, ensuring proper general ledger coding and timely payment by financial policies and procedures
● Research and resolve vendor payment issues
● Prepares 1099 forms for all appropriate vendors
● Create accrual(s) for costs/expenses incurred but unbilled by vendors at month-end
● Capitalize fixed assets purchased, ensuring proper documentation is retained and appropriate useful life is applied following Company Policy and US GAAP
● Record amortization/depreciation of assets monthly
● Prepare monthly fixed asset roll-forward schedule and reconcile to the general ledger
● Perform other duties as assigned

● Bachelor’s degree in Accounting
● At least 5 years of related experience
