What the role is about

An Expense Administrator is responsible for managing and processing employee expense reports, ensuring they comply with company policies. They must maintain accurate records, communicate effectively with staff, handle reimbursements promptly, and enforce the expense policy.

Responsibilities:

  • Creating and maintaining travel and expense profiles in various systems.
  • Reconciling invoices, credit cards, and out-of-pocket expenses against expense management system data and statements.
  • Assist employees with travel and expense requests through emails and slack communications

Required Skills and Qualifications:

  • Attention to Detail: Must be able to spot mistakes and inconsistencies in expense reports.
  • Math Skills: Good with numbers to accurately review and approve expenses.
  • Organization: Able to manage lots of information without getting mixed up.
  • Communication: Clear communication is key when explaining policies and resolving issues.
  • B2 English level or higher.
  • Computer Savvy: Comfortable using computers and learning new software quickly.
  • Problem-Solving: Can figure out issues that come up with expenses or reports.
  • High school diploma or equivalent; some college preferred.
