Human Resources Generalist

This position will be responsible for strategically managing Human Resources processes, aligning labor practices with current Peruvian regulations, and contributing to human capital development. The role aims to optimize talent administration through efficient recruitment, document management, and labor relations processes, ensuring a productive, inclusive, and legally compliant work environment.

Requirements:

  • Education: Degree in Psychology, Business Administration, Law, or related fields (with HR specialization).
    Experience: 3+ years in HR generalist roles in Peru.
    Technical Knowledge:
  • Expertise in Peruvian labor laws.
  • HRIS tools (e.g., SAP or GHLobal).
  • Office 365 (Intermediate/Advanced Excel for reporting).
  • Soft Skills:
  • Confidentiality (data protection under Law 29733).
  • Conflict resolution.
  • English Level: Advanced (C1).

Key Responsibilities:

1. Recruitment & Selection

  • Manage end-to-end recruitment: job postings (on platforms like Computrabajo, Bumeran), CV screening, interviews, and hiring.
  • Source candidates using multiple search methods to build a strong talent pipeline.
  • Screen applicants by reviewing resumes, applications, and conducting phone interviews.
  • Conduct interviews to fill open positions.
  • Ensure compliance with Law 30709 (salary discrimination prohibition) and Regulation of Law 30036 (workers with disabilities).
  • Prepare contracts under Peruvian legal modalities (indefinite, temporary, part-time).
  • Collaborate with Operations to fulfill all staffing requests.
  • Coordinate with HR to ensure a smooth onboarding process.
    • Partner with Marketing and Communications to strengthen employer branding.
    2. Payroll & Benefits
    • Process monthly payroll using tools like Electronic Pay Slip (PLAME) and T-Conductor.
    • Calculate social benefits (CTS, bonuses, vacations) per Supreme Decree 001-97-TR.
    • Manage affiliations with EsSalud, AFP (Integra, Prima, etc.), and other mandatory programs.
    3. Personnel Administration
    • Maintain organized and confidential employee records.
    • Create and track administrative records.
    • Prepare and update HR documents (employment contracts, training guides, addendums).
    • Coordinate with external entities (EPS, AFP, Ministries) for mandatory procedures.
    • Generate periodic reports on key metrics (turnover, absenteeism).
    • Serve as the first point of contact for HR inquiries (benefits, policies, procedures).
    • Keep Electronic Attendance Records updated (mandatory since 2021).
    • Manage leaves (maternity, breastfeeding, sick leave) per Law 29783 (Occupational Health & Safety).
    • Prepare reports for SUNAT/SUNAFIL (electronic filings).
    4. Legal Compliance
    • Ensure compliance with all applicable labor laws and regulations.
    • Stay updated on labor legislation and implement necessary process adjustments.
    • Enforce adherence to:
    • Law 29783 (Occupational Health & Safety).
    • Law 27942 (workplace harassment).
    • Legislative Decree 1493 (remote work).
    • Lead SUNAFIL inspections and internal audits.
    5. General Office Management
    • Maintain physical/digital documentation (contracts, personnel files).
    • Coordinate mandatory training (Law 28518).
    • Support corporate events and employee engagement initiatives.
    • Supervise office facility maintenance and organization.
    • Ensure workspaces are clean, orderly, and safety-compliant.
    • Monitor office supply inventory and place replenishment orders.
